Psyllium Husk (Isabgol) for Constipation

It is imperative to drink copious quantities of
water when taking psyllium, otherwise it just adds to the already
existing problem of constipation. It clogs things up further.

Personally I think Triphala is a much more user friendly product, and
according to David Frawley safe to use on a long term basis. It also
tones the colon and has high levels of Vitamin C.---claire lafferty

Me and my wife both tried using triphala and had the same result. It had no effect whatsoever. This came as a surprise to us because triphala is known to work. This proves even more that Ayurveda is a personal science.

Triphala is mild laxative and if you don't get good results with its use you should use some stronger combinations of Triphala like - Gandharva Haritaki etc.
